POPULAR Taiwanese-based singer and actor Nicholas Teo says he is not ready to settle down just yet, citing his career as his immediate passion that he wishes to nurture.\
The Malaysian heartthrob, who is making it big in Taiwan, said he wanted to dedicate the next two to three years to further advance his presence in the highly challenging entertainment industry.
“I think I am still quite young,” the 28-year-old told The Star during the promotional tour of his latest album, The Moment of Silence at The Summit Plaza Bukit Mertajam in Penang on Wednesday.,f

He said it was hard to predict where he would be in the next five years as the entertainment scene kept moving at “lightning speed”.

“I would really like to do more concerts as well as make more movies so that people can remember me,” Nicholas added.
He said he hoped to be more versatile by taking on different roles, including as a villain, in some of his future movies and dramas.
“The industry first took notice of me when I participated in the Astro Talent Quest 2002 singing contest.
His advise to talented Malaysians who wish to follow in his footsteps: “Do not push yourself too hard to become a huge singer or to set Taiwan as your ultimate target.”
Earlier, many screaming fans, mostly uniform-clad schoolgirls, mobbed him for photo calls as they clicked away snapshots of him on their mobile phones.
Nicholas belted out two songs, Say You Love Me and The Moment of Silence, from his latest album before taking part in an autograph session and tossing some of his posters into the crowd.
Ardent fan Tan Chong Hong, 12, said he was thrilled when Nicholas autographed most of the 11 CDs and VCDs of Nicholas that he brought with him.
Friends Chang Ling Shing, 18, and Ooi Kim Peng, 21, said Nicholas’ songs, especially the ballads, made them feel happy and melancholic whenever they were down.;]'[$M&W7u(n%a:F5[
